We're so excited to host your event. We wanted to share a list of resources and commonly asked questions to make your event here as smooth as possible.
Our COVID-19 Safety Protocols
DuoWorks is following the city of Austin guidelines with regards to masks. Masks are not required but are strongly recommended for our unvaccinated and immunocompromised guests. We are sanitizing the common areas at Duo Works twice daily as marked on the fridge. For open meeting rooms, we are using a card system: When you are in the room, flip the card to “STOP.” When you are finished using the room, please use the provided clearing wipes to sanitize the space, then flip the card back to “GO” to indicate that it has been sanitized and is ready for use.
Duo Works Address
Our address is 8920 Business Park Drive, Suite 250, Austin, TX 78759. We're near the 183 and Mopac intersection just off of Mopac off the Steck exit. Our space features free, ample parking. Please park anywhere in our one of three parking lots. Once inside the building, our offices are located on the second floor in the north tower.
Duo Works Hours of Business
Our hours of operation are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. If your event is before regular business hours, someone will meet you at the offices before the event.
Your room will be available for access 10 minutes prior to your scheduled rental time. When you arrive in the Duo Works lobby, text or call the number on the whiteboard and we will be happy to show you to your space. If you are wanting to add time to your reservation for set up or clean up, please contact us to book more time at firstname.lastname@example.org. Every office, meeting, and conference room has signage with an assigned name. If you have questions or can't locate your room, please text us at 512-686-4693 and a member of the DW staff will help you locate your room.
Our building is open from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. However, our offices are open between 8:30-5:30 PM Monday-Friday. If your event is outside of those business hours, you will need a key fob to access the front entry of the building and elevators, or the Duo Works team will submit a formal request to have the doors and elevators open for you. Outside office hours are often called after hours. If your meeting is booked outside hours, the DW team will have worked with you to ensure to accomodate your request prior to your event start time and date.
Members can access our internet at Duo Works. The guest network is DuoWorks-Guest and can be accessed without a password.
Restrooms are located outside of our offices. Just follow the hallway past the elevators to the south tower on our same floor.
If you require signage to direct visitors to your event, please produce these materials and bring them with you on the day of your reservation.
White Boards & Markers
All of our meeting, conference and training rooms have whiteboards and markers included in the rooms. If you are interested in additional items like easels as well as snacks or drinks for guests, these are available for an additional charge. Please email us to add items to your reservation at email@example.com.
Television and other A/V equipment is available upon request. The use of some equipment such might require an additional rental fee. Please work with the events team to coordinate your technical needs.
Beverage or Snack Service
Duo Works offers snack and beverage service for our customers available in the reserved meeting room. These are available at an additional charge. Beverage service includes coffee, bottled water, tea, and hot chocolate. Snack service includes our snack cart with snacks like granola bars, chips, pretzels, and also fresh fruit. Please email us to inquire and add this option to your room reservation at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note the beverage station in the kitchen and open coworking areas are for Duo Works members only.
Catering and Food Delivery Recommendations
Duo Works has an open catering policy meaning that we welcome outside catering and food delivery for your event. You can access our list of recommended catering and delivery options. Please note that unless you purchase the concierge service, you are responsible for set up and acceptance of your food and delivery orders. Please include a designated person attending the event's contact information including name and phone number on your delivery orders. Please clean up your event at the end putting your trash and food waste in the trash receptacles in order to avoid an additional cleaning and service fees.
